In 1978, a young Greg Nash designed Hillcrest Golf Club in Sun City West, an unincorporated retirement community. Nash has become Arizona's most prolific golf course designer. His name is synonymous with beautiful, playable golf courses (over 50 adorn his resume) that provide fun, fair challenges to players of all abilities while blending seamlessly with their natural surroundings. Hillcrest is a shining example.
In the '80s, Hillcrest was a regular Senior PGA and LPGA Tour stop. Chi Chi Rodriguez, Gary Player, Billy Casper, Gene Littler, Jan Stephenson and Beth Daniel have all performed well here. More recently, golfer turned television personality Johnny Miller held his Pro-Am at Hillcrest.
Today the course is owned by the Scottsdale Golf Group and is home to the John Jacobs Golf School, the world leader in golf instruction.
Attention to detail, service and a highly-rated course with impeccable year-round conditions make Hillcrest Golf Club an unforgettable golfing experience.
