The 27-hole Kierland Golf Club buzzes with activity from prestigious corporate outings to leisurely rounds by golf vacationers from around the world. Designed by Scott Miller, the three nine-hole layouts ­ Acacia, Mesquite and Ironwood ­ are named for trees that dominate the landscape. Each nine plays with a distinct style created by varying treatments of the terrain, thrilling shifts in elevation and characterized by desert-style layouts as well as more traditional design elements. Kierland offers a state-of-the-art teaching and practice facility, complemented by a full-service golf shop. Surrounded by sweeping vistas of Camelback Mountain, Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell Mountain ranges, Kierland is indeed, a very special experience in the Valley of the Sun.
